[Divided Loyalties]* Monroe/Nick.  Crossover with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  In the wake of a heated argument between him and Nick, Monroe disappears from Portland. Nick tries to find him, with no success. Then, a stranger shows up in town - a tiny-but-powerful blonde with her own entourage in tow - informing Nick of a new danger rising in his city. While investigating this new threat, Nick is stunned to find that it brings him back into contact with Monroe - but Monroe has been drastically changed by his experiences during his absence. Nick has to find a way to defeat this new enemy, while helping his best friend recover physically and mentally from the trauma he's endured - and maybe finding an unexpected love along the way.  Warnings: Abuse, graphic violence, non-con, and physical and psychological torture.  WIP: 4/?.
