Whenever Nick decides to start dating again, though, he asks Monroe to come over and stay with Roddy, just so he won't be alone. Roddy notices that Monroe is insanely jealous of anyone who Nick dates. Cue Roddy deciding to get them together, wanting to pay them back for the help they've given him. Bonus for Roddy offering Monroe tips about what Nick likes and dislikes.

There are so many wonderful fics and prompts about blutbads having life-mates, and Monroe's mate ending up being Nick either by some kind of primal instinct or by choice. I'd like to propose the opposite: What if Grimms had life mates? What if Nick unknowingly bound himself to Monroe somehow and didn't realize it until Monroe started showing feelings for Rosalee?
